From the director of 'Of Mice and Men,' comes this emotional story of survival in a time of prejudice.
Anne Frank, a Jewish girl living in Amsterdam, is forced to go into hiding with her family during Hitler's reign. Trapped in a secret annex hidden within the walls of her father's place of work, Anne turns to her diary as a means of escape.
Poignant, timeless and heartbreaking, The Diary of Anne Frank is a gritty and realistic depiction of the life of one extraordinary young girl.

The reviews

What a cast of characters! This young cast gave a gripping, riveting performance of "The Diary of Anne Frank." Penny & Pound Theatre Productions hit the mark! Two thumbs up!

Oh my gosh, Diary of Anne Frank was amazing! The acting from all was top-notch! The behind the scene aspects (lighting, set, costumes, and etc.) was professional caliber. The directorial choices/additions were excellent.

I felt real feelings when I watched the show. Real joy... real fear... and real sorrow. The show was so real that I felt like I was in the Annex alongside the cast!

Thank you for your fantastic adaptation of this story (Waterloo Region needs to see it).

Anne Frank was wonderful. You could really see what it was like to live in the Annex through this play. The actors were so convincing and in tune to their characters. Beautiful performance.

Shout out to the entire crew for the Saturday matinee production of 'Anne Frank.' Theatre goers, prepare for a vivid and visceral trip into WW2 Amsterdam. I was astonished at the maturity of the young cast!

Just wanted to say we saw the show last night and it was wonderfully done. Great acting by the entire cast, good use of the stage and a well designed set and an impactful story. Had two young children (11 yrs old) and they were both raving about the play on the drive home too. Job well done! Congratulations!!!
