A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

LITTLE WOMEN

Music and Lyrics by Lori Robinson Distel
Book by Piper J. Distel
Directed by Lori Robinson Distel & Piper J. Distel

It is 1946- one year since the war that shook Europe to its core and changed the very course of history. In a sleepy Polish village, the lives of those most afflicted by the tragedy are intertwined as they grapple with the horrors of the past, and look towards the future. Junior Meier is a newspaper reporter from Berlin, whose overwhelming guilt for the small part he played in perpetuating the Reich's hateful message has hindered his relationship with his young and impressionable daughters. Maestro Adelman, a Jewish violinist, drowns his sorrows- and the loss of his promising career- in drink. Catholic siblings, Joseph and Katherine, discover what it means to be forgiving while embracing a new life free from the bonds of tradition. American student, Maxine Jenkins, valiantly fights to change society's views of the downtrodden.
Told from the perspective of 'The Peddler-' an enigmatic young man with his own troubled past, CHOSEN ONE tells a story of hope, survival and the power of community.
