OWN YOUR SPOTLIGHT.

Penny & Pound Theatre is pleased to present our TRIPLE THREAT PROGRAM, designed specifically for performers ages 13-19 who are looking to immerse themselves in the world of musical theatre! Over the course of ten months, students will experience all aspects of theatre production, including triple-threat performance, tech, costuming and set design, while working towards performing a full-scale musical production. Guided by experienced theatre veterans and bi-monthly guests, students are encouraged to take risks and grow in both their art and their confidence! All students who register will be able to take part in this exciting project!

This year’s musical? BEETLEJUICE JR!

It's our show now, kid. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.

* BEETLEJUICE JR is licensed with permission through MTI Shows.
