It is two years after the end of the Second World War and the Holocaust, but many of the inhabitants of Mael Niebo — a tenement in a small Polish village— are still haunted, in different ways, by the terrible events they witnessed. Leopold Meier, a newspaper editor from Berlin, struggles to connect with his young daughter as he grapples with the small part he played in promoting Nazi propaganda. Catholic siblings Josef and Katherine Worcheka struggle against the binds of tradition and expectation while the Jewish Hoffson family attempt to rebuild a life torn apart by merciless persecution.

Told through a series of vignettes, Little Heaven is an emotional portrait of life after unspeakable tragedy that shines a light on injustice, reconciliation and the healing power of community.

RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE: Age 12+ 

NOTE: LITTLE HEAVEN features subject matter that may be disturbing to some, as well as characters that display racist and prejudiced behaviour. This production also uses smog and flashing lights. Viewer discretion is advised.

WHAT IS THE RUNNING TIME OF LITTLE HEAVEN? 
LITTLE HEAVEN runs approximately 2.5 hours, with a 20-minute intermission between ACT I and ACT II.

WHERE DO I PARK? 

• Darling Street Municipal Parking Lot — Located directly across from the theatre area and one of the most convenient options. It is also the recommended accessible parking area; from there, patrons can walk a short distance to the accessible Heritage Hall entrance on Darling Street. 

• Market Centre Parkade (59 Icomm Drive) — A larger municipal parking garage about a short walk from the theatre, with many spaces available. 

• Street parking — Limited free, time-restricted street parking is available in the surrounding downtown area. ​
   

IS SEATING RESERVED OR GENERAL? 
Seating for this production is reserved. Those purchasing at the door will be admitted on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR? 
Yes! Tickets can be purchased at the door with cash, credit or E-Transfer. However, we highly recommend purchasing online in order to avoid disappointment. 

WILL CONCESSIONS BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

WHAT TIME DO THE DOORS OPEN? 
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE LATE? 
Latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of Front of House staff and may be required to wait for an appropriate break in the performance.

No. Printed tickets are not required. You may present your ticket on your mobile device or provide your name at the box office.

DOES PENNY & POUND OFFER REFUNDS? 
Unless in the case of a cancelled performance, Penny & Pound Theatre does not offer refunds. If you are unable to attend a performance, contact pennyandpoundtheatre@gmail.com as you may be eligible for company credit.
